That's today!
An early team meeting coupled with a feisty first grader who only wanted to wear the fleece Wonder Woman pajama suit led right into an internet outage, half the class absent, and a total rework of today's plans.
Thus, I present to you:
NO ELA HOMEWORK.
Yes, that's right. NONE.
Because the internet was out for hours, we were unable to continue our WWII research and slide creation, and the fact that half of our classmates were absent meant that we would probably have to reteach or review everything we attempted to work on today anyway. So, we read. And we read, and we read, and then we read some more.
And I think we all at least kind of enjoyed it.
So, tomorrow, assuming the internet cooperates, your students will be finishing their WWII research and creating slide presentations about them. With any luck, we can squeeze our bellringer about War Time Paris in tomorrow, too, and be able to start next week off fresh!
