Mrs. Yeagle...in a nutshell.
This is Mrs. Yeagle's 13th year teaching and her third year as the 7th grade ELA teacher. She has a passion for writing and theatre, and she tends to be a little....well...DRAMATIC. Her favorite subjects are ELA and History, especially ancient civilizations and American history. (This explains why you'll read TWO books that are set during World War II!)
Mrs. Yeagle lives in Farmer City with her husband, three children, and their pets: Bubba (a blubbery white and orange cat), Fin (a black and white tuxedo cat), Clark (a gray tabby cat), and Griswold (a giant Irish Wolfhound that resembles a werewolf in the right light). When she's not at school teaching or creating fabulously fun projects for her students, Mrs. Yeagle is probably baking, reading, or dreaming of warm weather and palm trees.
A graduate of Eureka College, Mrs. Yeagle studied theatre, writing, and Elementary Education and performed in and directed many plays during her time there. Occasionally, you can catch her on stage at the high school as a last minute cast addition or a guest performer! Mrs. Yeagle graduated with her master's degree in Curriculum and Methods from Concordia University and has a passion for learning both educational techniques and random historical facts. (Did you know that the ancient Egyptians shaved their eyebrows off when their family cat died?)
Mrs. Yeagle is slightly addicted to coffee (only one cup a day, honest!), totally addicted to ice cream, and really likes Mexican food. In a dream world, she would live on an island in the Caribbean Sea, own a pet giraffe, and get paid to write witty blog posts about teaching, crafting, and eating.
