It's Sunday morning, and the last thing you're thinking about it school on Tuesday. That's cool.
Me? I've been thinking about school on Tuesday since 9:30am on Friday when I started tweaking my lessons for the upcoming week! That's the life of a teacher - always thinking about current school, future school, or even past school as we reflect on what we did that could have gone better.
All that thinking about school of course leads to DOING school, so I have a few updates for you all!
First, I have entered grades in Skyward!!! It's my goal this year to update Skyward every Friday afternoon. It may be updated throughout the week, but definitely plan on checking sometime after Friday at 3:30 so you can see how grades have changed over the entire week rather than just a single day.
Second, homework is starting to be more steady, so here is my plan for the year:
Monday: Social Studies work
Tuesday: Grammar work
Wednesday: Vocab work
Thursday: Writing Work
Friday: Reading comprehension
Of course you should expect daily homework in math and reading, especially once we get into reading our first novel at the middle of October.
This isn't to say there will ALWAYS be homework on those days, but ideally I will follow this schedule so we can all keep track of what we need to do every night.
Now, let's all get out there and enjoy the rest of this three-day weekend!
